Rain and Sky, always side by side, found themselves helping a girl with her heavy bags. Her grateful smile warmed the room, and something clicked in Rain's mind.
"You're Bloom!" he blurted out, recognizing her as the YouTube singer whose songs had touched hearts everywhere. Sky, not familiar with online stars, furrowed his brow. "Bloom?"
"She's kind of like Na WiK," Rain explained, referencing another well-loved artist. At that, the girl's eyes brightened. "You know P'WiK? He's my idol!"
After exchanging introductions, they followed her up to the second floor. The girl—Fern—led them to her dorm room, which happened to be right across from Sky's.
"My room's right here," Sky said with a small smile. Rain grinned and teased, "Maybe I should move in too."
Sky laughed, rolling his eyes. "You just moved in with P'Payu!"
As they helped unpack her belongings, Rain's eyes landed on her YouTube play button, a symbol of her success. They learned Fern was a sophomore in the Music Faculty, chasing her passion for music.
An idea sparked in Rain's mind. "Hey, we need someone to sing at the last cheer event. How about you?"
Fern let out a soft laugh, shaking her head. "My songs might be too sad for something like that."
Rain smiled gently. "It'll be fun! And besides, you're our friend now. We'd love to have you."
Sky nodded. "I'll talk to P'Som and the others. If you're up for it, we'll make it happen."

Prapai found himself, once again, taking care of Sky. His boyfriend had pushed himself too hard, planning the Freshmen Orientation event. Early one rainy morning, after making sure Sky was resting, Prapai went out to grab breakfast. He locked the door behind him, his mind still filled with worry.
As he walked down the hall, he heard it—a voice. It drifted from the room across, soft but filled with so much emotion. The rain outside seemed to echo its sadness, creating a haunting melody that stopped him in his tracks.
"How can I forget you,
If you're the only one in my heart..."
The words lingered in the air, wrapping around Prapai like an old memory. He stood still, listening to the girl sing, her voice carrying a pain he recognized all too well.
He wondered who she sang for. What memories haunted her? And why did it feel like her song was speaking to the ache in his own heart?
In that quiet moment, as the rain fell and the music played, two souls—one singing, one listening—connected in their silent longing. Both carried their own secrets, their own scars. And maybe, in that brief, fragile moment, they found a little comfort in knowing they weren't alone.
